Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy, born 13 June 1962 in the US, is an actor. After her 1983 debut film Bad Boys, Sheedy became one of the Brat pack group of actors. She appeared in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985), Short Circuit (1986) and WarGames. Her performance on Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998) Sheedy won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female lead. Sheedy is an American writer and actress. Sheedy began her acting career by appearing in the crime movie Bad Boys at the beginning of the 1980s. The film was written and directed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other well-known actors like Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. Her first success led her to make an appearance in The Breakfast Club, a comedy-drama from 1985. John Hughes' film, directed by him, is one of the most acclaimed high-school movies in history. Although the film's budget was $1 million it has earned more than $50 million. As she worked on the show the first time on TV, her television debut came in the form of CBS Schoolbreak. The show was for teens that began to air in April of 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid, Hill Street Blues and Chicago Story are some of the other series in which she has appeared. Recent appearances by Sheedy are Little Sister as well as X-Men Apocalypse, a movie featuring a hero in which she appears in a cameo. Sheedy has received numerous awards for her outstanding performances, which include an award from the MTV Movie Award Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
